Summary:
The decision is an application of the Regulation for the Electronic Commerce Law number 28 of the year 2002. It deals with application for becoming a digital certificate provider, conditions for granting, requirements, certificate system, unrecognized certificate, duration of the certificate, accreditation of certificate obtained outside the Kingdom, renewal, accidents, declarations, data and privacy, keeping records, expiration of the activities, cancellation of the accreditation and the required fees for being accredited. |

The only law issued in the Arab world that deals with electronic signature in criminal proceedings and is available in Arabic only. |
Summary:
The law is only applicable only in the Emirates of Dubai. It permits the signing of case documents using information technology tools . The attorney general is authorised to issue, in cooperation with the experts, necessary directives for selecting suitable equipment and software applications to ensure the security of sensitive documents. |
